We collect very little. We do not sell or rent personal information. This working draft will be replaced by a counsel-reviewed version before launch.
1. What we collect
From visitors to this site, we collect basic, non-identifying analytics such as page views and approximate location at the country and city level. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
From donors, we collect the information needed to process and acknowledge a gift: name, email, mailing address, and the donation amount. Payment details are handled by a third-party payment processor and never stored on our servers.
From grant applicants, we collect the information you submit on the application: name, location, contact, course details, and the financial-need statement. Financial-need information is kept confidential to the Grant Review Board.
2. How we use it
- To process and acknowledge donations.
- To review and award grants.
- To send occasional updates if you opt in.
- To meet legal and tax reporting obligations.
3. How we share it
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share data only with:
- Service providers who help us operate (payment processor, email host).
- Tax authorities when required.
- Anyone you explicitly direct us to.
4. Cookies
This site uses minimal cookies, primarily for analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser; the site will continue to function.
5. Your rights
California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what we have collected and to request deletion. EU and UK residents have similar rights under GDPR. To exercise these rights, write info@actionsportssafetyproject.org.
6. Children
This site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above and announced where reasonable.
